Hamlet by William Shakespeare – Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, London – June, 1994
This 1994 production of Hamlet was directed by Tim Pigott-Smith and starred a very fresh-faced Damian Lewis. It was only the second time that the play had been performed at the Open Air Theatre. Pigott-Smith and Roger Warren trimmed the script so the play ran at 2hr45, which increased it’s theatrical dynamism.
