Damian Lewis, Patron, Hosted HvH ARTS Exhibition

– Exhibition of Art and Photography –

Damian, Patron of HvH Arts Foundation, hosted the charity’s art and photography exhibit in a private viewing on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at LumiNoir Art Gallery at 157 Regents Park Road in London.

The Deputy Mayor of Camden, Councillor Eddie Hanson, was in attendance to give a speech, as well as some of the children and young people who spoke about their experience at HvH Arts. Some students in attendance were Giada Averna, Sienna Rackal, Joshua Bamgbose, Danny English, and Emiola Okie. Others in attendance were Robert Mountford and CEO and Founder Debbi Clark. The exhibition showcased artwork and projects from children who have already benefitted from the charity’s courses.

The exhibit also featured originally signed 1/1 photographs of Helen McCrory from esteemed photographers Debbi Clark (CEO and Founder of HvH Arts Foundation), Charlie Gray, Ray Burmiston, David Venni, Ian Derry, Matt Hind and Clive Arrowsmith. Artwork is available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the charity.

HvH Arts’ mission is to empower a generation by offering a gateway to the arts. Their free, inclusive programme removes barriers to access the arts (financial and social), inspires children and young people to develop their creativity and artistic passions alongside new friends from different schools, and opens the door to a career in the arts, something near and dear to former Patron Helen McCrory.

“Picasso famously said that ‘every child is an artist’. We at the Sir Hubert von Herkomer Arts Foundation want to give every child a chance to connect with and express their inner artist, at a time when arts are being squeezed out of the mainstream curriculum. All young people need positive outlets for their energy, and the arts can help children flourish in ways other subjects cannot.” – Helen McCrory OBE
