– The Crimson: ‘Breathe’ –
We reported earlier that Damian attended the private screening and world premiere of the music documentary Rock-U-Mentory about the story of the band The Crimson. The Camden band was developed by The Music Mentoring Project sponsored by the HvH Arts Foundation, which Damian is the proud patron of.

The Music Mentoring Project, funded by AMPLIFY LONDON MUSIC, Childhood Trust, The Big Give and BGC Charity Day, is the brainchild of HvH Arts Foundation CEO Debbi Clark. Clark initiated the project in 2021 with the goal of providing opportunities for children and young people to meet guest artists and develop unique skills of writing lyrics, recording, production, and ultimately make their own EP.
One of the most prolific projects of HvH Arts to date, The Music Mentoring Project is a world class masterclass in music and business education whilst simultaneously encouraging young people at risk to be part of a community of likeminded artists and entrepreneurs.

Developed over the past four years, The Crimson is an eclectic group, aged from 15 and 18, influenced by urban-pop and R&B. They write all their own material in the band and perform their own music and covers.
Meet the band!
Funded for a Music Documentary and Summer Tour 24, the HvH Arts’ young musicians played live at Wilderness Festival, Camden Inspire, The SCOOP-Summer by the River, Ronnie Scott’s, House of St Barnabas and HvH ARTS Summer Festival. The Crimson has recently recorded an EP titled ‘Breathe.’ And, they are dropping it this week!

Here is the EP link (in pre-save / pre-add mode at the moment) and the band’s note about their debut EP on Instagram:
And it doesn’t end there!
The Crimson’s next gig is at Camden’s first-ever Evening Market on Inverness Street on the release day! The TMMP, also developed by the HvH Arts’ Youth Music Program, will support The Crimson at the gig. TMMP’s very young musicians are aged 9 to 11. Inspired by urban-pop, jazz, and ska, they also write and perform their own music.

The proceeds from The Crimson’s EP sales will support The Crimson as well as TMMP as part of HvH Arts Foundation’s The Music Mentoring Program. Please consider supporting these young people and their music.
