– Recording the Score –
Damian joined Debbie Wiseman and director Peter Kosminsky at the London-based AIR Studios for a little inspiration while she and the musicians recorded the score for Wolf Hall: The Mirror and The Light. How fabulous is that!?!?
Debbie is a British composer for film, television and the concert hall, and this isn’t the first time she has worked in close proximity with Damian. She was the composer for Wolf Hall back in 2015, take a listen here for a taste of what’s to come:
Debbie was also the composer on the album The Music of Kings and Queens – a soundtrack inspired by past and present monarchs to celebrate the late Queen’s 95th birthday – with narration by Dame Helen Mirren and Damian. Of course Damian narrated the introduction for Henry VIII!
In addition, The Music of Kings and Queens was produced by Decca Records, the same label for Damian’s debut album Mission Creep. As Charlie Crews would say, everything is connected!
