Damian and his phenomenal band performed at this year’s CarFest at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire on Friday, August 23, 2024.
First up was the StarFest Stage for the StarFest Xtra segment, a behind the scenes interview and the beating heart of celebrity culture where festival goers immersed themselves in showbiz as they got up close and personal with legends of film, television, comedy, literature, sports and motors. The star-studded session was described as jaw-dropping stories and lots of laughs. Damian was on fire.
With Virgin Radio UK as the official media partner for CarFest, listeners will be able to hear the usual mix of fantastic music and guest interviews on both Chris Evans and Ryan Tubridy’s weekday morning shows next week, as they presented their shows live from CarFest on Friday, August 23.
Next up was Damian’s music performance on the main stage as the final act.

CarFest is a festival created by radio presenter and former Top Gear host Chris Evans, which launched in 2012. CarFest showcases seven festivals in one: AdventureFest, FoodFest, KidsFest, RetroFest, StarFest, SpaFest, and, of course, CarFest! The festival is known for its unique blend of a car show and a music festival, featuring live music performances from well-known artists, a wide array of classic cars, and thrilling car stunts. This year’s festival included fast cars, performances from some of the UK’s best artists, bands and DJs, incredible food demonstrations and ability to meet a host of the UK’s TV, theatre, music and sports legends.
CarFest combines music, motoring and entertainment in support of children’s charities like Rainbow Trust, BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation, My Black Dog, Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Epilepsy and local Hampshire-based charity Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospice for Children. The festival has raised millions the past 10 years for these charity partners and is the largest family fundraising festival in the UK.
