20 Years of Servitude
Damian and Alison Mosshart attended The Prince’s Trust Annual Awards at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in London on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Damian read a letter to the audience from the trust’s founder, His Majesty King Charles III, who was unable to attend the 20th event. Damian has long been a Patron of The Prince’s Trust and the awards honor and celebrate the successes of those who have been helped by The Trust, and those who support them, in the UK and around the world. The event was hosted by Goodwill Ambassadors Ant and Dec with partners TKMaxx and Homesense. Special guests like British actor Martin Freeman and the night’s winners walked the red carpet as they arrived for the main event. The Awards shine a light on the inspirational stories of young people, volunteers and those who support their wider communities. It showcases the impact of The Trust’s work in building the confidence and skills needed to get into a job, education, training or self-employment. Many of the winners have overcome significant barriers to transform their lives and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

At The Prince’s Trust, they believe every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they are facing. The Trust helps young people from disadvantaged communities and those facing the greatest adversity by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. The Trust recently announced their intention to change their name to The King’s Trust, reflecting the Founder’s, HRM King Charles III, continued dedication to their work.
