Should any photos surface of the Ginger one rocking it at Glastonbury, we will update our Gallery so keep checking back!
In many ways, Glastonbury is like loads of different festivals converging on the same gorgeous countryside for the weekend. Each area of the Festival has its own character, its own loyal fans and its own special attractions. This year’s worthy cause centered around climate crisis and included a surprise speech by Greta Thunberg on the Pyramid Stage. Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid joined forces to fight climate change and uplift the communities most affected by it and festival-goers were encouraged to rescue, reduce, recycle and give their green pledge. The vast majority of festival-goers spent their weekend under canvas, taking advantage of the camping fields.
There was something for everyone including Poetry and Words, Storyteller’s Lounge, Puppet Arena, Kidz Big Top/Kidz Field and music/acoustic stages. Musical act line-ups included Billie Eilish, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Crowded House, Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Lorde, Diana Ross, Herbie Hancock, Megan Thee Stallion, Pet Shop Boys, Kacey Musgraves TLC, Leon Bridges, Caribou, Primal Scream, Phoebe Bridgers, Courtney Barnett, Suzanne Vega and many more, with the Pyramid Stage providing the Festival’s most high profile attractions.
