Letters Live returned to the iconic Union Chapel in Islington, a London borough, for three consecutive nights, March 7th, 8th and 9th, 2019 and we had a heads up that Damian may be in attendance when someone tweeted this on social media:

It appears tonight’s performers did not include Damian, but it did include the wonderful Helen McCrory! Helen read Silvia Townsend Warner’s thank you letter for the gift of a matchbox, and reports are saying it was one of the highlights of the evening. There are two more nights of Letters Live, so perhaps we will see Damian soon. Stay tuned here for more information.

Letters Live is a celebration of the enduring power of literary correspondence. Over the course of these three unique evenings, a diverse array of world-class performers from the stage, screen, music, art and literary worlds take to the pulpit and breath life into correspondence from all walks of life, taking the audience on an emotional and unforgettable journey through time.
