Bobby Axelrod to Debut at the Santa Anita Park Horse Races
by Gingersnap | damian-lewis.com | March 7, 2018
We Billions fans all know by now that Bobby Axelrod got his start by watching both the betting and the numbers of harness racing at Yonkers Raceway, which led to a seat at 4 WTC to trade stocks. And as they say, the rest is history. So it’s all that more fitting that he has sired a race horse, so to speak.
A horse named Bobby Axelrod will make his debut in the second race at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California this Saturday, March 10, 2018. See the racing schedule here and view the Axelrod horse profile here. Bred at KatieRich Farms, this thoroughbred was foaled on May 12, 2015 and is owned by Rockingham Ranch, a global horse racing organization. ‘Axe the Horse’ was trained by Peter Miller Racing and on race day his Jockey will be Javier Castellano. Rockingham’s Racing Manager Brian Trump tweeted this out today:

Will Bobby Axelrod win, place, or show? Tune in on Saturday and watch a live stream of the race here.
UPDATE 3/10/18:
Looks like the #6 horse Bobby Axelrod came in second place! In fact, according to the chart below, he held on to second the entire race. He came in a bit just after the start, had speed between horses, then dueled outside the winner, but could not match the winner in the final furlong and just held second.
How wonderful of fan Caroline to share on social media racing photos of Bobby Axelrod:
UPDATE 6/9/18:
And it looks like Bobby Axelrod is racing again today, June 9, 2018, in the fourth race at Santa Anita:
