New on Showtime: All the Movies and TV Coming in March
We’ve reached that time of the month once more—that time when we look ahead to what we’ll be watching once another page comes off the calendar. The first of our streaming previews for the month of March comes from Showtime, which will be adding some noteworthy television shows and films before you know it. Read on to find out which.
Starting on the TV side of Showtime’s slate, the most anticipated March addition has to be the third season of the channel’s hit original drama Billions, from showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien. The series, which Showtime describes as a complex drama about power politics in the world of New York high finance, stars Oscar nominee (and Emmy and Golden Globe winner) Paul Giamatti as shrewd, savvy U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis as brilliant, ambitious hedge fund king Bobby “Axe†Axelrod. Billions’ title alludes to the high financial stakes of the show, as Rhoades and Axelrod endeavor to destroy each other, and its latest season finds the two adversaries adjusting to a world that has shifted on its axis since the events of season two. The new season of Billions debuts on Sunday, March 25 at 10 p.m. EST.
