The crème de la crème the British acting world were celebrating Tom Stoppard’s 80th birthday over the weekend.

And arriving at the lavish bash at the Physic Garden in Chelsea were Damian Lewis and his wife Helen McCrory, who were bringing their young children Manon, 10, and Gulliver, nine, along for the evening.

The artsy family were in high spirits as they prepared to celebrate the legendary playwright and screenwriter’s landmark year.

Damian was keeping things casual in a bright orange patterned shirt set off with a cream coloured cap.

Helen opted for a clashing palette of pinks and red, topping off her vibrant look thanks to a gingham sunhat.
