  • In a new interview with Barbara Walshe for Coutts Woman Helen McCrory spoke about balancing her roles as a film and stage actress, wife and mother and said that “It’s like being a nightshift worker, a cab driver in London.” She also said that her husband Damian Lewis recently spent his days “doing up their Tufnell Park home, climbing ladders and knocking down walls, so much so that Manon [their young daughter] thought it was his day job.”

The article reveals that Helen is currently busy packing up the family to join Damian in Los Angeles this summer during the filming of Life and that she will be auditioning for roles while she’s there. Let’s hope that we get a chance to see the “cabbie and the builder” together in a film in the near future! 😀

  • According to the Evening Standard Damian and Helen have enjoyed the fare at The Cow a well-known London pub on Westbourne Park Road.

  • On January 30th actor Adam Arkin (who plays Ted Earley on Life) made a guest appearance on the Late Late Show hosted by Craig Ferguson on CBS, the US network; click here to view a clip of that interview on YouTube.
