- More DVD news: In an interview with Sofia Chang, Sr. VP of Marketing for HBO Video Home Media Magazine reveals that a new Blu-ray disc version of the acclaimed HBO mini-series Band of Brothers will be released this year:
“…Band of Brothers is No. 6 on the all-time TV DVD top-sellers list in terms of units sold, and No. 4 in the season-set category, according to Nielsen VideoScan, and is among the top TV DVD revenue generators as well. Chang said a Blu-ray version of Band of Brothers is in the works for later this year…â€
The series stars Damian Lewis in his Golden Globe nominated performance as Major Richard Winters.
