    » NBC, the US television network, has announced their 2008-09 programming schedule and Life starring Damian Lewis as LA Detective Charlie Crews will return for season 2 on Friday nights at 10 PM. New episodes will begin broadcasting on September 12th and actor Donal Logue will join the cast as Captain Brian Tidwell.

    “New [online] content features include an interactive prison timeline giving the fans a chance to see what happened while Charlie Crews was incarcerated, a User Generated conspiracy wall and a “Life” Wiki. …”

  • Director/writer Rupert Wyatt plans to attend the BritSpotting Film Festival in Berlin on opening night April 10th when his film The Escapist opens the festival. Producer Adrian Sturges will also attend the festival but cast member Damian Lewis will not be able to join them.
  • This article in the Winston-Salem Journal states “independent comedies to play big role” in this year’s RiverRun International Film Festival and quotes Andrew Rodgers, the festival’s executive director:

    “…Going against the dark and moody crop of this year’s Oscar nominees and winners, this year’s batch of RiverRun selections include many light-hearted independent comedies, Rodgers said.

    “Comedy-making really exploded this year,” he said.

    The festival’s highlights include The Baker, a dark comedy about a hitman who flees to the country and gets mistaken as a village’s new baker, will make its U.S. premiere…”

    The Baker starring Damian Lewis will screen at the North Carolina festival on April 25th and 26th and writer/director Gareth Lewis will attend.
